2008 World Under-18 Championships underway



The 2008 World Under-18 Hockey Championship gets underway Sunday, April 13 in Kazan, Russia. The 10-team tourney features the best 17 year old talent the world has to offer leading up to the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. The opening day of the tournament sees 3 games on the schedule including Canada vs. Germany, Sweden vs. Belarus & Slovakia vs Russia.



TSN will have live coverage of the World Under-18 tournament beginning Friday, April 18, with Canada taking on Slovakia. Additional TSN coverage includes the Quarterfinal, Semifinal & Gold Medal contests.
