Hockey Night in Canada 2009-10 schedule released

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) has released its Hockey Night In Canada broadcasting schedule for the upcoming 2009-10 NHL regular season. The schedule, which includes the standard Hockey Night In Canada double-header Saturdays, also includes some additional coverage.



Added to the schedule are 6 triple-headers which include an afternoon matinee matchup before each Saturday night double-header, Sunday afternoon games and a double header on Thursday, Oct. 1 – opening night. The Montreal Canadiens 100th Anniversary game vs. Boston and the Bridgestone Winter Classic at Fenway Park featuring the Philadelphia Flyers and Boston Bruins will both receive full coverage.

As part of the CBC’s broadcasting deal with the NHL, all CBC broadcasts will once again be available live and on demand at the cbc website for Canadian residents.
